Women’s Ostara Cacao Ceremony

Welcome, dear sisters, to a Cacao Ceremony dedicated to the celebration of Ostara, also known as Spring Equinox!

We come together to honour and learn about the cycles of Mother Earth, and our own cycles, that is continuously leading us towards deeper wisdom.

Our focus is to create a safe space where you can explore, connect and rejuvenate, leaving the Ceremony inspired and nourished.

All sisters are welcome, no matter age or background, and no experience is needed from before.

ＴＨＥＭＥ ＯＦ ＴＨＥ ＣＥＲＥＭＯＮＹ

The dark cloak of winter is finally lifting as we stand at the threshold between light and dark. If we open our ears, we can hear the chorus of birds at sunrise grow louder and louder each day. If we step out and great the ripening sun, we can feel it’s warmth caressing us.
This is time when the sap is rising in the trees and with it, our energy, that is returning to being fully awake.

Springtime is the time for picking up our dreams into the light of our conscious awareness – to have them expressed and felt. It is a potent time to offer our dreams to the Universe – so that they can manifest in our inner and outer reality.

In this Ceremony you will be supported by the Cacao and us, in connecting to the dreams that rest in your deepest places – gain tools for bringing them up into the light, and planting your dream seeds firmly in the fertile soil brought on by the energy of Spring.

We believe it’s important that as women, we come together and share, support and empower each other instead of being in competition, blame, isolation and separation.
It’s maybe more important now than ever before.
Each and every one of us carry our own unique medicine and you and your medicine are needed to the whole!
When we come together in Ceremony, we can help each other awaken that, and inspire each other to embrace the beauty of life dancing within and without

SHORT ABOUT CACAO:

Cacao is a plant medicine used for healing of the whole person – body, mind, heart and soul.

Cacao can be used to work with blockages in the body, opening the heart, getting help with more focus in studies, increased creativity, assistance with inner child work, yoga practice, meditation etc, etc… the applications are endless. Cacao meets you where you are.

My has developed a deep relationship with this plant over the course of many years and feel grateful and humble to be able to share this plant medicine in Ceremony.

The Cacao we use is wild grown, direct trade, Criollo beans from Guatemala. The beans are handpicked, hand-pealed and treated with care and love from bean to cup ❤️

On the international market, it’s known as “Keiths Cacao”.


HEALTH PRECAUTIONS

The monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors in Cacao, which allows for the absorption of neurotransmitters in the body, can interact with some anti-depressant medications and create unpleasant side effects, such as migraine.

Please let us know beforehand if you are taking any, if you are pregnant, or has a severe heart condition, as we will need to adjust your dose accordingly.

Our intention is to hold this Ceremony outside, if the weather allows for it. Location will be announced to the ones signed up.
If we can’t be outside – we will meet on Zoom, from the comfort of our own homes. In that case Cacao will be sent out as well as a zoom link. Therefore, it’s important that you give us your address when purchasing a ticket.
We will check the weather forecast and updates of the restrictions, closer to the Ceremony date.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility around the uncertainty. We pray for dry and warmer weather so that we can enjoy a celebration of Spring in the forest together!

The Ceremony will be held in English.

Any food, coffee, sweets, animal milk etc at least 2-3 hours before the ceremony. Fasting a whole day before a ceremonial dose is not necessary – and we don’t recommend it for first-timers as an empty system may accelerate assimilation and bring on bitter-related nausea. Normal or light eating a few hours beforehand is fine.

・Wear warm and comfortable clothes + bring something warm to sit on that will keep you dry, if the ground is wet – like a thick woollen blanket, lambskin etc.

・Optional – Food/snack, to have available during the Ceremony or after.

Please respect the integrity of the circle and plan to meet up in time.
Coming from Oslo? Take the boat from Aker Brygge that leaves at 12.03.
Meet up at Berger Stadio bus station/parking at 12.40.
We will have one or two sisters that will receive you all there and lead you through the forest to our Ceremony spot. About a 10 min walk.

We are looking so much forward to see you all, to share ritual, pray and explore together – we believe this is just what we need in these times of great change.
