For this CDP, we wanted to do something special.
Creating a more grounded energy of home, safety and family.
It helps that our garden is bigger and cosier than Ekebergutsikten and the other venues we have used in the past!
This means we can invite you a bit closer and extend the program, with lots of magic leading up to the great Cacao Dance Ceremony.

Join us in creating a beautiful day with a focus on magic and community, filled with nourishment of different kinds and an opportunity to rejuvenate and unfold.
Take a dip in the waterfall, a swim in the fjord, a walk in the forest and experience the most amazing dance of this summer, under the Birch tree.
We will gather like we’ve done since the beginning,
with sacred medicine, in Ceremony.
With meditation and celebration,
heart songs and conscious movement,

★ ABOUT THE DJ ★
MOSE played the first ever Cacao Dance Party in Oslo two short years ago, and in a couple of weeks, he is finally back!
His style continues to develop in his own unique direction, when a Mose track comes on, it can not be mistaken.
When he is not playing weekly Sunset Dance Parties with Cacao at the Atitlan Lake, he spends his time going into extended periods of retreat and silence, only to emerge with a deeper, truer and more refined sound. Beyond the multicultural rhythms and the four by four beat, Mose weaves ephemeral chanting of sacred songs and calls to love, kindness and compassion, often bringing on musicians to always create something beautiful and transient.
We love Mose, and Mose loves us. The first seeds of the Cacao Dance Party was planted when My experienced a full moon party at the lake with the humble American at the controls, and the same year, he inaugurated the CDP at the Villa.

★ WHAT IS THE CACAO DANCE PARTY ? ★
The Cacao Dance Party concept emerged from a dream that we can party in a conscious way and have heart-opening and liberating experiences in an organic and integrative way.
We offer a space where you can come as you are, dress how you want, dance barefoot and wild, but also be still, meditate, have open, heartfelt conversations, bring your family, friends or make new ones!
The bar is closed, instead we serve delicious Ceremonial Cacao, known by the Mayans as a helper to open our hearts and to be present and more loving towards ourselves and the world around us.
We celebrate Life and the beauty of movement and come together in authentic and playful ways <3
We offer a ritual, where we drink the Cacao together to start off our experience, a guided meditation & connection exercises that leads into enticing soulful music and a dance floor for free dancing, where you are invited to dive deeper into your body, your emotions and if you want – play with the others on the dance floor.

★ WHAT TO BRING ★
1. Loose-fitting / light / warm clothes, depending on the weather.
2. Water and a water bottle. ( you can refill it here )
3. Cash if you wish to buy some products that are being offered.
4. Blankets / something to sit on.
★ WHAT TO AVOID ★
Any food, coffee, sweets, animal milk etc at least 2-3 hours before the Cacao Ceremony. Fasting a whole day before a ceremonial dose is not necessary – and we don’t recommend it for first-timers as an empty system may accelerate assimilation and bring on bitter-related nausea. Normal or light eating a few hours beforehand is fine. Any allergies, pls contact us beforehand.

Ferry boats from Aker Brygge, Oslo, leaves :33 every hour.
From Nesoddtangen dock, the Magic Bus 560 HASLE, awaits you, bringing you safely to SOLBUKTA.
From SOLBUKTA you walk up the road (Korsveien) next to the bus-stop for about 10 min. Our house (big & grey) is located on the right hand side after the forest.
There are parking spots down at the SLORA bus stop/beach. 15 minutes walk to the location.

★ SHORT ABOUT THE CACAO ★
Theobroma Cacao translates from Latin to “Food of the Gods” and was valued very high during the pre-columbian times. It was used by the Mayans in ceremony to celebrate life, death and other festivities.
With this ancient plant medicine, Cacao, as an ally, we are gifted an opportunity to open up in a gentle way and to drop down from our heads – in to our bodies.
We will use delicious ceremonial cacao from Guatemala this event.
We are happy and honoured to share the awareness around this sacred plant and to let you experience what real chocolate can taste and feel like…
– Theobromine, the active component in cacao, has a contraindication with anti-depressants – please let us know beforehand if you are taking any, or if you are pregnant, as we will need to adjust your dose accordingly.
